Ohio Condominium and Planned Community Laws: Home

Introduction

A condominium is a type of real estate which is divided into separate spaces, known as "units," the owners of which also own an undivided interest (as tenants in common with all of the other owners of units) in all of the remainder of the property which is not within one of the units (the "common elements"). Each unit owner is a member of the condominium's unit owners' association, which manages the condominium property.

Planned Communities are single family homes that are held together with a Homeowner's Association (HOA).
