Narrow AI can perform a single task in a similar fashion to a human. Auto-complete, spellcheck, self-driving cars, Netflix™ recommendations, and chess robots are all examples of narrow AI. Narrow AI can excel at the task it is designed to perform—often exceeding human performance. However, narrow AI is useless outside of its field.
