Introduction

If you are concerned about needing nursing home care in the future, you may want to take out long-term care insurance. Long-term care insurance pays for medical care given in a nursing home, assisted living facility, adult day care center or your own home. It can pay the expenses related to skilled care and treating chronic health problems. For Ohio residents, make sure the insurance is covered by the Partnership of Long-Term Insurance discussed below.
