Abortion Laws : Ohio and Federal: Agency Guidance (Abortion Pills)

Agency Guidance

The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has become involved in the abortion controversy because it heavily regulates the abortion pill, mifepristone. This bill can be used to induce a medication abortion. The REMS was recently modified to allow retail pharmacies to stock mifepristone, but only if they become certified and if the state they are in allows abortion.
