Introduction

On January 29, 2025 Magistrate Raenell Nagel presented a CLE about the Environmental Division of the Franklin County Municipal Court for the Franklin County Law Library Brown Bag Lunch Seminar Series. The Environmental Division enforces building, housing, pollution, sanitation, health, fire and zoning laws. The Court is exempted from the monetary jurisdiction limits imposed on the larger Municipal Court.
