Alternative Dispute Resolution Research: Public International Arbitration

Despite its name, the P.C.A. is not a court. It is an institution for the administration of arbitrations, including the naming of arbitrators and acting as the registry for arbitrations. Today, the P.C.A. administers both inter-state arbitrations and mixed arbitrations, between a person and a state.

Deals with reports of arbitrations between countries. R.I.A.A. has been published since 1948 and today publication is handled by the Codification Division of the Office of Legal Affairs of the United Nations. All volumes of R.I.A.A. are available freely online in pdf from the UN Office of Legal Affairs.
